Back to my Father’s Business

Back to my Father’s Business

A Poem by Apollos
"

Partly expressing praise for Kanye’s recent expression of faith. Partly contemplating the faith it takes to get back to business when returning from vacation.

"

I follow the King of Kings, no longer wrestling with Shiva.
Visited by the Queen of Sheba to explain the wisdom of a Believa.
Been listening to Ye and been thinking he done being a Diva.
Even though he unequaled yoked, I don’t think he want no Prenup.

Trying to get my life right.
Time to act Christ like.
Fill me up with light so I can fight Fright.
Supernova with a diploma to knife Strife.

The Road is narrow...
You provide for the sparrow...
You give life to these Dry Bones...
Blind folded on this faith walk...
See the actions don’t catch me stuck in my prayer talk...

I’m in the Family business of debt collection.
Where’s your sin?
We have no recollection.
My Father gave up His Prized Possession so you could join the Profession.
