Worry

Worry

A Poem by Apollos
"

Take a breath.

"
I got into a hurry so I started to worry.
Vision blurred as I wondered if I should have another McFlurry.
Feeling my wardrobe should get more furry.
Caught up in strife and it never added a hour to my life.

Have you noticed how the lilies of the field grow?
Even Solomon would be jealous of how they are better dressed than him.
O you of little faith!
Why all the hate over what you’ll eat, you’ll drink, or you’ll wear?
Don’t you realize you have a Father who cares?

Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given in their fair share.
Don’t borrow tomorrow’s wallows.
Today has enough trouble of its own.
You are known so go prone as you submit to The One who sits on Heaven’s throne.
