The Ark of The Covenant

The Ark of The Covenant

A Poem by Apollos
"

When God & Israel got FB Official.

"
Open that chest of scourged wood.
Indiana Jones wishing you would.
Rosa Parks wishing she had stood.
Gold as the mold but also the fold inside & out.
4 elite rings to attach to the feet.
Poles of purged wood to carry a sentence that a runoff believes he should.
Inside lies the Testimony of our Matrimony.
A Mercy Seat so that our peace may be complete.
2 Cherubim at both ends to lay the foundation of a New Jerusalem.
The Ark was that beginning spark of a God starting off using this object as a meet & greet before He captured the world’s heart.

and you did just that...

Imagine if there were Facebook back then....and the notice to come and get on the Ark was done that way...
if only those pesky mosquitoes couldn't read...what a delight that would be.
and we all took a trip on the water...singing Eric Clapton's "Let it Rain"---
