Christ-mas Spirit

Christ-mas Spirit

A Poem by Apollos
"

Happy Incarnation Day!

"
Ho Ho Ho I’ve got some candy for your soul.
Your coal has been redeemed white as snow.
Down in Canada they say “don’t ya know?”
Maple Leaf from the Tree of Life cause you haven’t been nice.

Joy comes every season and you never have to leave it.
Grace has laced your name with its taste if you trace it.
Passion is derived from a drive to couple purpose with a plan.
Dreams become reality if you understand that those aspirations never have to land.

Satan’s got a Bible and thinks it’s Neverland.
Peter Pan needs to grow up because time is catching sand.
Tucan Sam is getting loopy because the Fruit is within.
Follow a God who chooses to descend.

Rudolph ran over a reindeer and called it a sin.
Santa calling for the list because he knew Jesus was Heaven sent.
He gave up his cookies and it wasn’t even Lent.
Jesus sacrificing for a people who wanted to throw him off a cliff.

Tell the Grinch his heart wasn’t growing it was just getting older.
We have a Savior who provides because nothing grows until it finally dies.
We’ve been given Heaven’s eyes to decipher  the Truth from the lies.
Divine Partakers that choose to deny that we are a broken record with simple lives.
