Even though I'm no more than a monster - don't I, too, have the right to live?

Even though I'm no more than a monster - don't I, too, have the right to live?

A Poem by Dominick
"

A person is inseparable from their body. When they lose their body, they change to you. An idea is inseparable from words, and art is inseparable from the frame. We are subject to ourselves.

"
Feeling always strikes at night
I break apart
And I wonder about us
Am I human without eyes,
Am I human without a voice?
Though I cannot hear,
And am without smell,
Can I still be loved as you are loved?
And I wonder about us
At what point can't you bear,
At what point does it hurt too much,
Just to look at me?
I don't understand
Even though I am as I am,
Though I am 'thing'
Aren't I human, too?
