Walls

I wrote this poem about creativity, with the idea that perhaps my creativity will push me further away from my friends and family.

I wonder what will happen
When I build this wall around myself
When I isolate myself
I won't really be isolating myself
If someone really wants to stick around
But what if my wall gets so tall that no one can see my face
Will they just start jumping up and down
Or will they just walk away
I suppose I will have to find out
