The Heart Song

The Heart Song

A Poem by Sincerely, Alex
"

Heart Songs never fade to a voiceless hum.

"

A heart song never fades to a voiceless hum

Heart songs battle and tear

They flow in harmony with kisses that bite and kisses that soak

Weep, thrash, and pray

Laugh, dance, and stay

My heart song for you plays to this day

A broken rhyme, a guitar that snapped

Keys of a piano that flew to a grave

A land without wonder, a heart song could not travel

A timeless time wears on it

But not once did the key-less piano stop playing

Nor the string-less guitar

For it's melody is wavering in tune for you

A heart song never fades to a voiceless hum

Once it begins, it ceases to end

Basically, this means once you love someone, you never stop loving them.
I just took it to a more extreme level.

love these lines:
"Keys of a piano that flew to a grave
A land without wonder, a heart song could not travel
A timeless time wears on it
But not once did the key-less piano stop playing
Nor the string-less guitar"
your words really speak for themselves very nicely,
Great Job!

this was so heart-warming [the irony...] and it was really beautiful and sincere. I like how you took it to a higher level, it was so much more specific, and it said alot more. Amazing piece, I loved reading this.

I've missed reading your work Alex! xD
This is amazing, like always. I had never really considered the whole idea of a heartsong before, but reading your poem definitely made me think about it.
"My heart song for you plays to this day/A broken rhyme, a guitar that snapped/Keys of a piano that flew to a grave" is a mindblowing section! This poem held a lot of truth, and a lot of insight. The emotion behind your words were priceless. Nice work,
