Cold Winds

Cold Winds

A Poem by xzinickamillana

Cold winds blow throughout my gaze,
Blowing my happiness away,
Blowing my existence out it's way,
Cold, cold winds.
I gasp but can't breath.
My lungs are now debris,
This wind is smothering me!
Cold, cold winds.
My blood is starting to slow,
If I die I would already know,
With every etch of pain to show,
The cold winter winds have taken my soul...
Winds blow against my neck,
Cutting me like a knife.
Blood spreading on every speck,
Draining me of life.
Determined to kill,
My blood is the winds to kill,
For the ground is my blood to fill,
Drained of all my will.
Cold, cold winds

The flow, the structure, the words are a thing of beauty. I marvel at your writing and I see complete and utter talent. Your hand contains such burning emotion, that I feel the sorrow erupting from the screen with pure intention. A gorgeous read!
