Muted Sights

Muted Sights

A Poem by Alice Poésy
"

Heart Anatomy Poetry #6 //I'm parched and I fear I've bled too much.

"

Life shoots

square between the eyes;

gunshot deafening the brain;

bullet muting sight,

a deer caught in

the middle of your hunt.

Strong words, but poetic and thought provoking. It carries a truthfulness to it about life. It's good to see you posting. Keep it up. :)

interestingly done analogy...

yes life will hit us right between the eyes...and often we feel like we end up on life support...not knowing if we will wake up normal...or forever wounded.
