Stuck

I am stuck, frozen, immobile. 

I cannot move away from fear, pain, confusion

and especially sorrow. 

I am lost amongst the dreams of yesterday. 

I cannot see the present. 

Do not make me even fathom the future. 

The emptiness flows through my veins. 

The hurt fires in my heart. 

Hope grows dim within the recesses of my mind. 

The memories are strong, 

But when I see you 

It all becomes the whispers of every 

love song. 

I lack faith, strength, courage.
