This is so relatable, there is not a person alive who would not know or understand these feelings. Smack downs are how we learn that person simply isn't right for us. Doesn't mean your affections are not worthy, they are just being wasted on the wrong person. IMHO. Give that same affection to yourself I say :D who deserves it more?
