Stay here Forever

THANK YOU to all of my friends and to the teachers that always fascinated us and gave a whole lot new meaning to our lfe. i will never forget my third year life. you guys are the best! :)

Stay here Forever

Ten months was gone in just a snap of a finger.

All the memories we had together

Will forever be cherished.

There were a lot of ups and downs

That came to our life.

 

Some tested us and gave

The real meaning of friendship.

And after all of it,

We had proven that

Nothing can break us apart.

 

The past few months seemed to short

For us to forget.

The people that entered our lives

And gave a lot of whole new colors

Will always be in our hearts.

 

We may be separated for two short months,

But nothing will be change.

It seemed too fast

As if we only started out yesterday

And now we’re done.

 

This year had been truly remarkable.

All the things that happened were unforgettable.

The tears that fell down from our eyes

From our first lose,

Until the joy we embraced

From our winning glory.

 

Everyone remarked this year

To truly be the best year we had.

As much as we don’t want to let go

And just stay here forever,

We know that we need to move on.

 

We may not want to say goodbye

To the year that captivated us,

But we know in our hearts,

That even as we grow old,

The lifetime memories will always

Stay here forever.

this is an amazing poem. beautifully written and full of meanings. i kinda had a teary-eye when reading it, reminding me of my own friends somehow. i liked the last line. 'the lifetime memories will always stay here forever'. it's cute and it's true. memories and real friendship cannot be forgotten. it has to be cherish in a lifetime. you'll only have one set of unique friends at once. the others will be different. :)

Great write! Very relatable, and very simplistic, yet at the same time, deep, insightful, and complex. The last two stanzas really resonated with me, in the sense that recently I've been feeling like I'm stuck in a moment where I know that I have to accept certain things and move on. Very cool poem. This seems like an end of class or graduation kind of poem. We all have felt that way, when you just don't want time to pass and want to stay with your friends forever. Unluckily for us, time goes by and we grow old, but the important thing is to always feed those friendships so they last for a long time.

Very good free verse poem, very emotive. Keep it up!
