Standing Head

Standing Head

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

A peek at my barrenness.

"

Watching family’s grow in an incubator of friendship.

I'm washing my loins with envy.

My barrenness surrounds me;

I stifle in things soul.

If you see my head standing it is merely

Reaching for some form of heaven.

wow, this is so sad....seeing others at peace with their lives, but even standing on one's head sometimes we cannot see up...there is no heaven, just envy at what others are enjoying...sometimes our lives are just stifled, as you said...

i love that line " i stifle in things soul"---
