I felt so many on my brow,

My empathy pouring a rain storm,

I have missed the peace in my life time,

I wallow in words,

Taste the salt of my soul,

Feel like a big smile,

But the blue rains shovel

the waters of sadness on my head.

and then we rain words, or maybe the words themselves reign--

we are the kings and queens of sad? as poets...
because the smile is harder to write.
