For Lack of a Title

For Lack of a Title

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz

lacking serenity

For Lack of a Title

Lead weights down the title of my mind

I have questions but lack answers

Stirred by infinity

I ask Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot to kneel before God

Did Jesus die for their sins?

How do divine hands allow treachery to slip through its hands?

Was free will destined for all men?

Here we are decades from the top b******s of this century

only to discover the killing, maiming and desecration of the human spirit continues

I don’t know whether i (small i) can be mad at God.

people have free will and some just don't know how to use it correctly---killing, maiming and desecrating each other is certainly not the way to go.
