Contentment

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

the "ahs" have it

"

Contentment

A full meal shadows my stomach
I ease into a soft bump in the universe
I draw into myself
The darkness gathers around my closed eyes
I feel a glitter of satisfaction in this moment
I satisfy myself with breath
One following another
You hear silent bells ringing
through "the state of being" atmosphere
Ahh........the saying slowly rounds itself to home.

nothing like a good meal...and being content with ourselves...something is then right with the universe.
