The Chair

The Chair

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

sit down relax........

"

The Chair

with utter simplicity four legs scattered to the corners of the Earth.

the stillness cast an unbelievable portrait to the viewer

furthermore it never spoke one syllable of song, transcendence or poem

yet it breathed a tale of mystery of dimensions that stood beyond the tales of time.

you can catch it here on this page

allow your eyes to waddle around the environs

sit down, feel comfort, transport yourself to far horizons

never telling anyone you were sitting in a chair of magnificent proportions

we have a secret you and I and

I promise if you visit

I won’t tell a soul.

The fun had walking my mind down The Chair's road. I felt like a king about to be crowned.

I'm glad you enjoyed it Jacob. Stay warm!

Regards,
Al

i like the shape of this poem....i want to sit on it....

while reading this i glanced up on my wall...a really cool painting that my mom did...it's a porch and just one chair sitting there, empty...

lots comes to my imagination...not only from that painting, but also much from this cleverly presented poem.
