An Invitation to a Breath

An Invitation to a Breath

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

join my breathing

"

An Invitation to a Breath

On an inhale of joy I see myself in your glory

On an exhale of love I surround you in my arms

Here in the invitation of a breath we unfold

in a lasting dream of each others air

Breath in an instant of emotion

Breath upon which we love

Breath as the universe spins in motion

Our lasting breath coming home

in moment’s great fame

a fiction of arms in arms,

shadows dancing in a peculiar sun

The air about us lasting evergreen

Our song plays us “What a Way to Die.”

Hey Jacob!

Glad you accepted joining me in a breath. Now that we are on our own keep breathing for a long time my friend.

Regards,
Al

Hi Chris,

Sometimes yoga gives me a motivation to think universal as my teacher offered some food for thought.

Thanks for the visit!

Al

the universe breathes, and we breathe with it...we all dance under a particular and peculiar sun...

each an individual just as important to the "process of breath" as anyone or anything.

In places I substituted "breathe"... but that's me and listeners tend to do that.

I internalized "Poems, and Prayers, and Promises" in my background - first as an after and then as the during. Strange how we touch upon and "memory-ize" thoughts isn't it...
