Flying on Earth's Soil

Flying on Earth's Soil

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

look out major tom

"

Flying on Earth's Soil

You filled the leaves with sweetness
and turned them to silver
with a twinkle of night we saw the stars
as though the universe started at our feet
You gave a wink as our starship turned around
I never knew a rocket man could be unearthly bound.

nothing like cruising among the stars with someone we love...
sharing the universe, in flight.
