Manning the Space Suit

Manning the Space Suit

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz

Manning the Space Suit

Oblivion enters the mind
You float freely
Mind wandering into galaxies
Stars shaking hands with your mitt
You drift
Whoa!
Drift more
Oh the countless nothingness
inching into my soul.

Thanks Jacob!

I always felt the universe starts at your feet. It’s space, isn’t it?

very clever ... the abruptness of expansion and contraction down and into the inner galaxies is mind tripping good! nice one big Al :)

good metaphor here....and coincidentally , just saw Apollo 13 again last week....thoughts float and it is like our being floating aimlessly with no gravity.
