like a puppy in his youth

like a puppy in his youth

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

jackson my dog age 7

"

like a puppy in his youth

snow across a wide plain of imagination
innocence finds its feet in paws,
rolling on a dog’s back in jubilation
smelling the gifts found in a canine nose
here is jackson, golden, among all miracles of land,
of earth, as i gaze upon his playful rhythms
like a puppy i once knew in his youth.

Even puppies get older....as do we. Watching the playfulness of a child or a puppy is intoxicating....no one can be in a bad mood while watching. I am sure you have many fun adventures with Jackson. What an uplifting write this is. Lydi**
