29. We Never Interrupt Mummy When She's Hydrating

*On the plane to Denver, Colorado*

 

*Morgan is, as usual, listening to music via his headphones. JJ and Prentiss are looking through the case files again along with Megan and Gideon. Hotchner is staring out the window mindlessly. And Reid, Mayisha, Jocelyn and Jack are watching Doctor Who. Jack is attempting to hold Jocelyn in his lap, but she refuses*

 

Francesco on the Screen: We never interrupt Mummy when she’s hydrating.

 

Morgan: *looks over* What the hell?

 

Reid: SH!

 

Hotchner: WHAT are you guys watching? *comes over to see*

 

Mayisha: *squeals* Doctor Who~

 

Hotchner: Doctor WHAT?

 

Jocelyn: *points* That’s Liv’s boyfriend! Well, not exactly…

 

Hotchner: What do you mean, not exactly?

 

Reid: It’s a version of the Doctor. There’s different versions.

 

Jocelyn: Yeah… versions… Let’s leave it at that…

 

Mayisha: SHUSH! This is when the Doc gets electrocuted!

 

*The five watch the Doctor get electrocuted*

 

Mayisha: *laughs hysterically* YES I LAUGH EVERY TIME!!

 

Hotchner: *is horrified* How do you find JOY out of that??

 

*The rest of the team come over to watch what Hotch is so horrified about. They stare in horror when Reid rewinds and they watch it over again*

 

Morgan: That’s awful…

 

JJ: I’ve seen people do that for real.

 

Prentiss: Did he live?

 

Mayisha: Of course he lived. He’s the Doctor. That girl didn’t, though.

 

Gideon: What girl?

 

*Mayisha points to the girl as she drowns*

 

Morgan: Ooh…

 

Reid: Vampires of Venice. One of my favorite episodes.

 

Morgan: Um…

 

JJ: You guys watch the strangest things.

 

Jocelyn: Oh yeah? What do you watch?

 

JJ: …

 

Jocelyn: THAT’S WHAT I THOUGHT!
