Here we are in this world

We live and we die

Here we are in this room

We laugh and we cry

Here we are in the schools

We mark high we mark low

Here we are in this life

We struggle to survive

But ask yourself
Who am I?

What am I?

Don’t look for the answers outside

But search inside

Of what you are

And you’ll find a voice leading you

Back on the road

Here we are with the films

They have become our way of life

Here we are infront of the news

They have become our source of truth

Here we are depending on a bunch of paper

It has become our survival plan

Here we are fooled by a plan

Which has become our own plan

But ask yourself
Who am I?

A profound commentary on how worldliness deceives us and distracts us from the true paths in our lives. Who we are and what we are come from within and not from the dictates of some product bombarded to us subliminally and even blatantly by media. Within each of us is His light, ready to spark and ignite so that we see the spark within each one we meet. It is in knowing who we are that we get to see God's face in everyone.
