My Angel Will Arise

My Angel Will Arise

A Poem by Kelsey
"

A poem for the person that showed me the meaning of life, a person I recently lost.

"
My angel will arise,
and end all my demise.

A life of comtemplation,
a state of mind to stay in.

High up in the clouds,
my angel will be found.

A beautiful safe haven,
a permanent vacation.

My angel, my protection,
as the dark night crept in.

My angel, he has risen,
a new chance, he's been given.

Thank you, Jack. I really hope so, though a poem of mine could never do him or anyone else justice. .. read more
The word evocative means "evoking an especially emotional response". To me, this poem is the new definition of the word. You always seem to evoke emotion with such eloquence. Graceful phrasing. Thank you for this and I am sorry for your loss.

Thank you.
That was a beautiful read. You can sense the sadness you hold by just reading it; You have a gift for showing the truth in simple, elegant words.
