Meaning

A Poem by Alyssa Case
"

Just a short poem to help me think. Opinions, please?

"

I have not yet discovered

the meaning of

collecting old,

broken things,

or keeping black and

white

photographs or

dead flowers,

But they remind

me

of how once they

were alive and new

and young

and when I am old

I hope someone

remembers

I used to be young,

too.

I loved the idea that came in this, I think the concept is interesting. It was a simple poem, with a relatively simple structure and style, but it had more than simplicity in it.

I'm so glad you liked it! And that you found it deep :)
Brilliant. ... Makes me think about how someone would "collect" you when you were old.
