FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH

FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In a blink of an eye
An idea is born
And if its not nurtured
The idea will be gone.
But this seed of thought
Given time to grow
From a seed to a tree;
The grand picture is exposed.
An idea to be shared
To some just a thought
Like a bird being snared
To be released when caught.

Like the bird analogy...so true... you have to write those ideas/ thoughts down into a poem before they disappear forever...

Hi Andrew. Amen to that sentiment. I sleep with pen and paper ( ooh hoo, anyone out there remember what they were????) so when I struggle to sleep, those thoughts don't slip away. Loved this. you have it just right!!!, alf
