Empty!

Empty!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Empty
were his emotions removed
from the nest he grew in
not ready
crying
now told.......
                     march on.

So many now return after leaving. And often bring children and in some cases the spouse. Maybe that's what it will take for family to mean something again.

Now that I did the serious part, funny how that surprise comes alone, some should get the message much earlier.

Nice, well done. And fun??

haha that day comes! Thank you Wordman
Life is very hard. I went to war and return 15 years later. Only damaged house and memories were left. The poem said a lot in so few words. Thank you Andrew for sharing the outstanding poetry.

You are welcome.
gotta grow up sometime...and sometimes the kids just have to be pushed out of the nest in order for them to learn to fly.
