Gee
I was kinda hoping for a piece, medically based, exploring the mind of Norman Bates. Explaining fully his unhealthy relationship with his mother and penchant for wearing her clothes after her death. But no, no such thing. Gotta say young fella, I'm disappointed, only slightly, but disappointed.
Ahhh, good morning Andrew, hope you and the family are well.

Pondering...The preference to always view life's cup
As half empty. The eternal pessimists in life that destroy relationships and people who love and try to help them. Precisely "nailed" by your beautifully minimal poem. Harkens to "Great "Expectations" in theme. Bravo!

had a friend like this....she reminded me of Plath...for every good thing that happened to her, she found a negative to overshadow it.

Short and true. Pretty days can become darker, too quickly. Thank you Andrew for sharing your excellent poetry.
