Lines in the sand.

Lines in the sand.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

While God was the creator
man was the necromancer
creating the illusion
that he was the creator,
but he was in fact
the destroyer
of all things wonderful.
For it was he, man
who gave us
dust to dust
while the only magic
was the rabbit
pulled out of a hat
or was it?

and yet...i some eyes, destruction is creation...but how? i don't understand that concept...
God has to be scratching his head....never meant for this....he thinks.

Oh, I love that word 'necromancer'...mysterious...darkness personified.
Yes we create far too many illusions for our own good...far too many claim that man has accomplished everything that is good. Only Man can save the world from climate change! We only have 11 years left before it's too late. It was too late when we took God out of the equation.

That's what I read, Andrew, although I may be off base here.

A good write.
