When made in china broke the world.

When made in china broke the world.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

It stands to reason
why the Great Wall
of China was built,
and if China does not
change its degustation menu,
we can all expect another
pandemic next year
following a new horrorscope.
Behind the mask of arrogance
and insolence -
the innocent will die.

Beats me why we let the crap into the country.
From Chinese steel to televisions. It's all cheap materials.
We'll see what Biden does with the tariffs.
I reckon this is the kick in the a*s the world needed.

Well I cant say for sure That China did it on purpose However we put ourselves in a bad way by depending on them so much. Id be all for bringing the jobs back home. I have no mercy for totalitarianism in any form be it china north Korea or our own president gassing and beating our own people for peaceful marching. Perhaps we as a species have brought this on ourselves with our endless consumerism. I mean how many televisions do we really need?

Yes, I do agree with you pandemic is periodic and it will come if we keep nourishing the one who is actually side-stepping us from behind. Fine crafted poem.

Though with hush words everyone is saying it..... It's so unfortunate for a whole lot of generation undergoing through this pandemic..... It's devastating, scary, frustrating..... We don't want and can't carry another pandemic like this......

Thank you Dreamer.
most powerful social messaging i have read form you sir ... well done .. sharp and straight to the heart of it .. i am waiting and hopeful the not just the USA ..but other countries as well ...will hold China responsible for their intentional denials, misinformation and at the root of this pandemic .. i sure pray you are wrong about the "next" one ... but the world being what it seems to be .. someone will leak something someday .. with vile intent perhaps :(

yes .. just like that :(
I'm not into politicizing this pandemic, but I do agree there will be other pandemics, wherever they may originate. I'm starting to accept that face masks is a new normal, even tho I don't own one & I'd rather stay in my solitude than don one. I love your made-up words well-done! I agree with everything in your poem, which says a BUNCH in just a few short lines! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Totally agree with every word andrew.

Pandemic aside, the West, and much, though not all of the rest of the world has woken up, albeit rather belatedly, to the fact that China doesn't play fair. They have always played the long game and economically, theirs is a one way street, always has been, and this mindset will not be change, at least not voluntarily. I left my job in the city a little over thirteen years ago now, (when my son was born,) but even then, the signs were there.

Power and money, don't guarantee competence and aside from the fact that China has been splashing the cash like a drunken sailor out on the town; many of their state-owned enterprises are technically bankrupt; and given the huge cost of their overseas infrastructure 'investments,' much of which has withered on the vine; 'tis my belief that the master plan, including BRI, will flounder; as rather like Russia, China finds profit for the people and ideological politics to be uneasy bedfellows.

I have a great deal of time for ordinary Chinese people. No time at all for the legitimacy of a regime that murdered thousands of its own people, during the Tiananmen Square protests, then simply wiped it from the history books.

Beccy.

Indeed, totalitarian governments are not known for their compassion and concern. But what is degustation?
