What will be will be?

What will be will be?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Tomorrow's dreams
hang in the balance
on the tree of life
as autumn falls today.

Your wise words bring up the fact that I feel bad about today's youth, growing up in this world. I'm sure they will come up with new adaptations that we never dreamed of & they will find ways to have fun despite smiles having become obsolete behind masks! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thank you Marg and so sorry for the delay.
yes ... its Winter in Aussie land isn't it!? the metaphor is thought provoking .. which dreams will fall .. which cling and linger ... how they all roll down the lane in the wind ... to and fro .. i like this a lot .. the brevity is sublime ... your deeper side in this one sir! thanks so much for sharing

Thank you and sorry for the late reply.
I am thinking about your time of year. Our summer, is your winter. I can't help feeling that everyone's dreams are on hold at the moment with Miss Covid visiting every part of the world. We are opening up the economy. I worry about a second spike in winter. You have had an awful year with bush fires as well as virus. Your little piece of brevity sums it up. What will be, will be. That:s what Doris sang.
