In the omnibus of lovers past.

In the omnibus of lovers past.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The saddle of love
rides on companionship
where loving
was the omnibus
we had to have -
a volume of love’s
all published separately
in search of
that particular chapter
where the page
dog eared
stays open
for eternity
like a late night diner.
Amen.

Some people never find love. A dog eared page on a book left open is always worth reading. A most visual little poem Andrew.

Dog eared pages of love left open. I have one of those such chapters in my life. I frequently revisit it.

Serve me up ... a very tight write. Loving the imagery and crystal clear intent:)
