Behind the scenes of a mirror cracked.

Behind the scenes of a mirror cracked.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I am
what I am,
I’m all there is.
In the event
I am moved,
look after my shadow.
Before the mirror cracked
I saw the same face
make the same
mistake twice -
mirrors don’t lie.

This is very clever & thought-provoking. "if moved, look after my shadow" = the height of witty concepts . . . most of us feel fractured & two-faced, whether we admit it or not. We live in bifurcated times so we all wear masks to get by (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
