The collector of the pressed.

The collector of the pressed.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I followed the letter
to the end;
licked and labelled
by the postmark,
and sent on
an envelope
direct to you.

- the stamp.

congratulations Andrew .. you are awarded Top Writing on this one! i have to admit the title bewildered me as did the "stamp" in closing ... but i am hooked and am reading it in a feed back loop ... lost in transit .. such a mystery to receive and envelop so sparsely clad ... the post mark would be the give away tho .. unless one took the time and mailed it from some other point of send off .. i think there is a broken heart in this somewhere .. a deep hurt that can't find the words .. well ... you hooked me good sir! i'll be thinking this one over today .. singing this https://youtu.be/425GpjTSlS4 i love your stuff sir!

Haha I like that angle Margie 🙂
stamp out bad love, send good love...
the stamp knows which is which....now what the hell is that zip code again?
