On the starboard side of love.

On the starboard side of love.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

During the sail
of lonely hearts
the mind gave
ballast to the ship,
and love was
better anchored
where the waves
of the high seas
of any courtship
hit the bow full on.

The mind may give ballast, but Love is anchored in the heart.

Sooner or later lonely hearts put into port. Always take the waves head-on ... less likely to capsize.

Good one Andrew

Liking the nautical metaphor Andrew in this brevity. Always best that love is well and truly anchored.
