Do I pretend to beA Poem by andrew mitchell
I am a child,
the child that plays, the child that laughs, the child that cries, and sometimes the inner child is my shadow and sometimes not. Am I the man to be or just a child that has grown taller? And yet when I look at myself I’m only an extension of a child that once was. Always a child, a child to the very end, an old child that never had time to truly grow up, and so.... for now the cosmos surrounds me. © 2021 andrew mitchellReviews
