Free but how deep is your pocket?

Free but how deep is your pocket?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In order to get
financial freedom
one had to pay
for the privilege
of being free.
Freedom depended
on how much money
you had in your pocket.
Yep! Nothing is free,
not the air you breathe
nor the water you drink.
You want the great
experience of the
great outdoors:
wide open spaces,
your own island:
it's going to cost
you an arm and
a leg.
Still want Freedom?
I didn't think so.
Take a walk
while you can.

I enjoyed this read, very nicely said.

Thank you Jennifer.
yes, harder to walk and do things with one arm and one leg.
so maybe freedom isn't so worth it.

Yep, there’s a price for everything to pay in full. Thanks J for your words.
