the prejudice one places
upon self.

Eloquent and true. Excellent.

Putting an etymological feel to two suspiciously like sounding words religion and relegate there is a graspable sense of having to downgrade, send away, exile to obligation being bound to, subjugated, a volitionary binding. This is the placing upon self, and that makes institutionalised religion a very scary thing.

Thank you on your feedback Frederick, I agree entirely.
Well said. I discarded all dogma a very long time ago. myself, so this agrees with my philosophy of faith. Or theosophy, more accurately, since i have no claim to answers.
Interesting how so few words can create such complex ideas.

Thanks Tate and yes we are so complex and yet dependant on beliefs.
Yes, I agree Andrew. I find my religion in the forest and the sound of the sea near. Great use of words. You made your point my friend.

You are welcome, Andrew.
Interesting take. It made me consider that religion requires adoption of victimhood. I have yet to have anyone adequately explain why man needs to be forgiven.

Thank you sir for your words and visit. Much appreciated.
Brilliantly said. Don’t think I ever heard it put so well…religion is very different from faith.

Thank you Ladysue.
Religion is another form of government, a belief system, hodge podge of idea, a medical, a powerful weapon, system of rewards and punishments. Either put or applied for good use of the individual and society or abused with injustice and atrocities against individuals and societies. It can divide and conquer. It can heal or plunder. It is a very much needed if with enlightenment treated. It is a very much hated if crookedness and brain washing deeded.
It can make Angeles or produce monsters.
You pick!
