How green is your yellow?

How green is your yellow?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

On receiving
the golden handshake
he will drink
the golden elixir
from the golden chalice.
There he will walk
the golden mile
to see the
Golden Fleece
only to find
he was mislead -
it was all
false gold.

Just simply,
another golden moment.

Cute, and spot on. Though if really pushed i could provide a few other adjectives for false gold. Try nuggets from the communal commode to start with.

Nuggets! Maybe chicken! Thanks Ken for stopping by and I appreciate your words as always.
I do understand. The fool's gold, Andrew. We can be offered often. Shine so pretty and ain't worth a penny. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry. I enjoyed this one.
