Snowing in Spring Time

Snowing in Spring Time

A Poem by Ama Lew

Snowing in Spring Time

You're beautiful
Like poetry
On the inside
Just on the inside
Unfortunately

You're tempting
Addictive
Torn up and twisted
Rose bushes are twisted
Yet beautiful

You're happy
Like spring time
But it's snowing in spring time
I'm wishing for more time
Why?

You're perfect
Yet so flawed like
Glass with a crack I
don't want to break you
I might
If i get too close

Why is it raining
inside of your bubble
with all of it's walls up
Why
do you run and hide like i do?

We flew a kite once
It was more like
a baloon
we threw
But balloon kite fly throwing
is through
and so are you

i can't get too close
like monet
some folks kind of like that
obscure ugly pretty
I do
Sometimes

Blood is
yes
thicker
anger is quicker
lately

I spy
with my little eye
Eight pretty people
That I
Have to love
From a distance
