But, Love?

But, Love?

A Poem by Amanda J. S.
"

a poem about a friendship I once had...

"

Waiting in the rain,

I looked around.

I was looking for you.

But it was first

When my hair got soaked,

My body shaking,

That you showed up.

And you left shortly thereafter.

Waiting in the sun,

I looked around.

I was looking for you,

And you came

Right away.

We enjoyed the sun together that day.

But, Love

Why didn’t you stay

When I needed you the most?

Why didn’t you dry my hair?

Lend me a blanket?

Why did you leave me?

A Beautiful creative and a splendid piece i read today but it's became a bit emotional at last .. i enjoyed this. Here you've dropped some real feelings of your heart into the words/poetic form to let everyone know this... "But, Love?" .... I liked the usage of your words and your style's beautiful. Your well expressed the love in a sun, in a rain, in a heart but it's hurt... those who're in love always wish to be with love all the time but it's not possible sometimes cos... love sometimes needs a bit rest too but heart can't. Heart always run right after the beauty of love cos, heart only needs love and love always needs someone. That's all i just got. Lovely poem. Well done, an excellent creative piece you made with your of course i think a scented heart ;) as well as right from the depth of the love of your heart. Beautiful piece.

Love the title and the content of your poetry was great...

What i call see here is maybe you were just having your breakfast early morning, or watching dew cling to the window panes or maybe just rolling on bed with headphones on.... and all of a sudden a condition stuck you. A condition you have been searching to idenitfy with your feelings. Next moment you got a pen and spilled your emotions. (i may be entirely wrong there), but somewhere this write makes me believe of an spontaneous and very genuine feeling. I love the contrast and the simplicity. Go on girl, you have been a pleasure!!

It is hard to understand how you can love someone so terribly, miss them so terribly and they leave. Abandoned doesn't begin to describe the feeling. Great write.

A sad poem. Hard to be alone waiting for someone. I like the emotion in the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Very creative. I love how you chose the rain and the sun to describe good times and bad. Beautifully done. Keep writing! :D

No problemo :D
the deeper side to this is of course that some folk only want the good times..they cannot face up to anything problematic Pretty damn good
