the underneath

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

not always what they seem

"
Puppy soft and cuddly
cute as a button
cuddle up and lick
careful he may bite
wag his tale
big eyes wide and
innocent belied
ripples beneath the
surface
fair of face
what lurks below
beware
the
underneath

this speaks to me about accepting people at face value......it sure does take time to really know a person and sometimes even enough time falls short in really knowing what makes a person his or her unique self....thank you for sharing :)
