A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

two lives

"
two lives inexplicably
intersected
in a crazy crossroads cliche',
he soothed her,
he helped her
find the strength
the will to do
what needed undoing.

will they ever meet?
template for a Hollywood screen play

now she takes her turn
to soothe him,
to help him
do what he must.
but it isn't an ending;
he seeks a new beginning --
and she knows
her help may mean

they will never meet
at the crossroads of her heart.

i like this...reminds me of some friendships i have had with women...we get too deep into the emotional helping each other with relationships...and although we might have been a good match, it would seem awkward to try to change to that...we pass that intersection and take the off ramp.

i really like the allegory here.

Why, thank you very much, appreciate your passing through.:)
This goes in and out of the verse...
the way you give us both sides...
just as the title suggested...
and the ending...
put in the hidden question:

they will never meet
at the crossroads of her heart.

you're welcome...
Okay this is beautiful. Hollywood screenplay indeed. You have romance novel material right here. And I can tell without a doubt, I am enough of a hopeless romantic that I would definitely buy it.

That ending is so bittersweet. I'm in love with one. It's amazing.
