so deep

so deep

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

a wandering thought

"

I steeled myself to tell you

all of it,

twice.

I can’t;

I don’t know why.

I am into you

so deep I

drown inside

my thoughts

and wonder

how to come up

for air

and then I have to return

to my real life

the one without you

the tenuous tether

of a cell phone

between us

until

we meet again.

Your writing is so romantic, I am pleased this has this effect.:)
Great flow from top to bottom! Those fetters; those tenuous cell phone tethers don't mean as much as a touch. We have all become silk worms dangling on threads in sundry places trying to piece together electronic traces of familiar faces.

Yes this is true. Thank you.
This is sad Kit Kat. Distance is a cold hearted b***h yes?

I never really saw it as sad when I wrote it, but I guess it is.

Yes it is .
This deeply shook me...not easy - and one would think voicing things would be when we do feel this way but it isn't x

We do hon, and I do :) x
"then i have to return/ to my real life/ the one without you"

that is so sad...much that can't really be said from a distance, over a phone...
but if it runs "so deep"

it will survive the gaps..

Thank you so much. I am so pleased to read your words, always.:)
One thing I know is truly knows no boundaries, that includes time, distance or death… a truly sentimental write.

Funny how we go to write something small, and the feeling oozes out of it anyway ...
Romantic piece here! I love the desire here and the not wanting to come back to reality once they leave your bubble. I also love the part about the cellphone because that is so true now-a-days. It made me think about how we are so tied to them for one reason (or person) or another. Great write! xo (:

Why thank you, sweetie, I enjoy this review.
A built-up of powerful emotion in the poem. I like the way you ended the poem. The cellphone and waiting for the next meeting. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

It is my honor. I'm getting slow. I'm writing three books, working and babysitting. Always a pleasur.. read more
AGAIN... perfect expression

"I am into you
so deep i
drown inside
my thoughts
and wonder
how to come up
for air"

Those lines right there say it so perfectly...this entire wondering thought is brilliantly done. Loved this.
