man's best friend?

man's best friend?

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

on walking the dog

"
It might be my dog
or it might be me,
but all of a sudden,
men are
smiling at me,

Maybe they like
the swing of his tail,
and the look on his face
as he runs beside me
picking up the pace -

One hangs his head
out the window,
another turns around,
is there dirt I didn't know
on my chest I hadn't found?

One thing for sure
I don't have to endure
an unwelcome comment
or an ugly leer --
a woof from the dog,
and the creeps disappear!

Glad to have made you laugh.
hahaha, see dogs are more than man's best friend, they can also be a woman's security and comfort… that ending was hilarious and not what I expected.
