random thought lines on a page

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

another poetry scramble on one page.

"
breakfast bits

would you forgive me,
if I had you for breakfast
instead?
bagels have become
a little boring
as of late.

--------------------------
I once knew a man I thought it was a man at least and then it turned out to be a piggly beast.
--------------------------

filling my pen

random lines dance upon the page
filling my pen with liquid rage,
I can't, I won't, and never again ...

     ---------------------------------
if you think there is such a thing as love at first sight you need glasses.
     -----------------------------------

------
bitter is better

bitter is better
when it comes
to chocolate
or coffee,
poetry,
or me.

-----

If you think I am faking,
try wearing my skin.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
need is a pale substitute for love.

it is a poor woman
who needs a man
to enrich her life --

and a poor man,
who takes that woman,
as his wife.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lyn Anderson
The song is just because I like it, and because it is kind of random, and manic,
like this collection of thoughts.

I always enjoy reading your random thoughts! Your mind is something I would love to dive into! Clever writes, though "Bitter is Better" is my favorite. xo :)

Well, thank you, I appreciate that.
Interesting words. I don't know. The comfort of someone near is enough sometimes. We may accept less and I believe we did. Love can be hidden and near. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

I had never thought of collecting all my random thoughts
and posting them as random thoughts.

Maybe if I did I could do a better job of remembering
Those things that bounce in and out of my weary brain.

Enjoyed yours

You mean there's something realer than poetry?..........
There is a stream of people that have the tendency to deal with life using ideas rather then the expression of the event themselves and in here it is as if you opened up that side of you to share. The risk here for me would be poking as at least for me as the symbols and concepts expressed here are better left as they are trying not to impress any character of judgment upon them

A beautiful abstraction though

Thankyou
