an edible symphony

an edible symphony

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

this just came to me.

"
the thought
occurred to me,
as I quietly
lapped up
your edible symphony,

just how easily,
I miss you
or you miss me,
could have been
our never.

and life,
is such a mystery,
one turn
can lead to tragedy,
or treasure.

it wasn't that long ago
i was just a little i*
now, thanks in part to you,
I have me back,
forever.

My review from two years ago. I must have been brand new. :)
It's still a good poem.
.........................

I get dirty thoughts in my head when I think edible symphony. :)
Sorry!!

The poem is just so lovely though, the feel to it.
Someone who can make us feel big again, significant, worthy.
Makes us see all those things we don't see, within ourselves.

Such a wonderful thing to have someone like this.

That was totally intentional, thank you.
A wonderful write if you ask me. Cummings was a master of the weird, that's for sure.

You know, it was going to be dirty, but my muse steered me down another path.

wow, a deeply introspective piece....I so do not like looking deeply into myself, unless of course I ate something I liked (that came off as nasty--sorry) I truly love the poem, just suck at reviewing

Thank you so much. I appreciate it.
Try to capture moments of inner life. Not the easiest, the internal noise at times so great one cannot even image how i feels without that interference. How is it achieved? I think we all have tricks, systems and mechanisms. What is refreshing to see here is that circumstances have allowed to rediscover aspects of yourself.

Thankyou

Thank you very much, I appreciate it.
Life is certainly an endless mystery, the good or bad things that happen to us can cause us to wonder what if we did something different at a certain moment, how different would it be. Is our life more fate or freewill.

We will never know how much is each. That is the mystery.
