The colour of you

this is for the colour challenge in the poetry challenge.

When I close my eyes

I see it,
the fields
in summer,
and the flecks
in your eyes
an ocean
of you --

the colour I
wore, that
very first time
locked in
your kiss,
swept by
your bliss --

to me,
it will always be,
forever 
meadow,
lush and dew --
the colour
of you.

I am beginning to expect a little love poetry when I stop by here but this is beyond love. So very wonderful KLGoode. Your poem is gorgeous and I wish I could say more.
