No more tongues she said
Go on get out my head

She wept he bled

You are welcome and thrilled to inspire
Sometimes truth slips into the conversation. The song is a classic, and as a kid I liked Doris Day.

Oh, it's really old. My mom is an old movie star buff. She loved Doris Day.
And sometimes it is not "slips of tongue " but words calculated to harm, also a very heavy weight. Both hurt and damage ..

Where is Frieda?
OMG, quite likely the first "adult" song I enjoyed as a kid, I think I was in love with Doris Day for a while.
Lovely words.

This is one of the only songs my mom wandered around the house singing when I was a kid.
