love you from your nose to your shoes

love you from your nose to your shoes

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

For Frieda -- a collaboration with redzone http://www.writerscafe.org/redzone

"
There's no doubt, Dragon sister,
you often cross my mind --

From flutterby kisses
to tangerine dreams
I yearn for the sweet caress
of your lovingly placed
apostrophes,

wishing I was your lover ...

There's no doubt Dragon sister,
you often cross my mind ---

floating wildly on a gypsy wind,
enticing apricot'd skies to sing
of Cohen notes on a cosmic whim,
of loving til the end of time,
a thousand sonatas deep

wishing I was your lover ...

There's no doubt Dragon sister,
you often cross my mind --

from the tip your nose
to your red stilettos
there will never be
another ...

damn,
I wish I was your lover.

I have always loved this song and the two of you have done it justice with this collaboration it inspired. Frieda....I miss her too. Not sure I wish I was her lover, but her apricot dreams and her butterfly wishes are still a part of my poetic consciousness. KL and Curt, you rock! Lydi**

The miserable troll who made her feel unsafe here, unfortunately:(

True enough. I will never forgive that troll because Frieda was a breath of fresh air on WC.

thanks KL, I love how this turned out, blending of our love and this song into something Frieda will smile and feel warm about... something to fill her up, make her feel safe... maybe one day she will sneak in and see this, hope so... cause we do "love you from your nose to your shoes".. Damn!!!
